As an undergraduate research of the Translational Research Laboratory in Urogynecology from 2020 to 2024 under Dr. Steven Abramowitch and Liam Martin at the University of Pittsburgh.

The work I focused on and supported was to understand the mechanics of pelvic floor disorder development through imaging and finite element based investigations into the pelvic floor.

His latest works have been focused on applying Meta's object detection machine learning platform, Detectron2, to auto-segmentations of MRI scans.

Statistical Shape Mode

This was work I completed during my first year at Dr. Abramowitch's lab with the help of Dr. Liam Martin.

The main task for this project was to calculates and returns significant modes of variation of a set of point clouds using a principal component analysis or Procrustes Analysis. The Python code was based on the Dr. Abramowitch and Dr. Routzong wrote.

I was able to do this using the pandas library, the scipy library, the math library and others.  I've included some of the functions. I have included the full script, which can also be found on Dr. Martin's GitHub.
